OUTCRY ANSWERED

An outcry for help from Thembalani Projects towards Klerksdorp Rotary Club,

was recently answered. Thembalani Projects, an organization which sees to the needs of HIV/AIDS

orphans, has done a presentation to Rotary Club in which they explained how their work

is challenged by lack of finances, the cost of water and electricity and the expense of food for the children.

Charl Muller verbeter spiesgooi rekord

Charl Muller van die Hoër Tegniese Skool het by die

 atletiekbyeenkoms wat onlangs op Rustenburg plaasgevind het, die rekord in o/17 spiesgooi verbeter met ‘n afstand van 59,90 m.  Het ook ‘n eerste plek in gewigstoot verwerf.

KHS ATLETIEK

 

Met 'n puik 2,06m oor die hoogspringlat, het

Hoërskool Klerksdorp se JP van der Schyff (o/17) vir hom die plek oopgespring as die beste senior veldatleet by Volkskool se Prestige byeenkoms by die PUK se McArthur-baan. JP verdien hiermee 1009 Absa-punte en ontvang ook 'n kontantprys.

CYCLE RACE RESULTS

 

The Overland Cycle Race took place on Sunday 19 February in Potchefstroom. 842 Cyclists took part in this annual event sponsored by Overland Group of Companies. The race is organized in association with Klerksdorp Rotary.
