DREAM BIG WIN BIG History of Yourcity Yourcity opened it doors to the public in August 2000 with the goal of creating the biggest information and news web site in Klerksdorp (Which we have done successfully). Our second goal was to become the biggest website designing company in Klerksdorp (Which we have done successfully). Our third goal was to create the biggest property and home owners guide in Klerksdorp (Which we have done successfully). Our forth goal is to become the biggest community newspaper in Klerksdorp, current we are the second biggest out of nine different newspapers and the biggest FREE publication. Once we have reached our goal we will be moving to other cities in the NW Province, we already started in Potchefstroom with a satellite branch that offers a bi-weekly Klerksdorp / Potchefstroom newspaper and internet advertising services. Yourcity have grown form a one man dream to nine people dedicated in serving the community with excellent service and one goal in mind getting people positive and marketing our town and our business to embrace the future together. Mission of Yourcity To create a spirit of wellbeing by promoting a positive, healthy, prosperous life and attitude amongst it clients (Business) and the users (Public) of its products. We believe in free access to information, news and motivate growth and job creation. We believe in the future of our city and live up to it by supporting business and by being involved in numerous community projects and the development of Klerksdorp. Vision of Yourcity Yourcity’s vision and goal is clear-cut, focused and goal orientated. We aim to be the biggest portal for information and news in the NW. To cover all possible visual communication mediums (newspaper, flyers, websites, internet advertising, e-mail newsletter and internet advertising) to reach our goal. |
