Pool Play-offs a great success

The North West Pool Association held it’s annual Team Playoff Tournament, the biggest on it’s calendar, last weekend.

The top 6 A-division and top 10 B-division teams of the province came together at Sportzone Klerksdorp to find out who the top teams in the province are. The competition was held as a round robin played over two days.

The B-division was won by Hotshots, from Rustenburg, with Lafarge Pool club from Lichtenburg as runners up. The A-division was won by Wiseguys A-team and Cottage A-team as runners up. In a final friendly match between the two division winners, Wiseguys once again came out victorious.

This was the final tournament in the winter season, but the summer league is to start soon, dates to be announced in the press.

Wesvalia se Bruin Beer

Die Bruin Bere het 2004 op ‘n hoogtepunt afgesluit met die jaarlikse toekenning van die Orde van die Bruin Beer en daar is bepaal wie vlieg hierdie jaar waarheen.

Die leerder wat hierdie jaar voldoen aan al die Bruin Beer is: Heidi van den Berg. Sy beklee vir die res van haar skoolloopbaan ‘n ereplek in die Orde deur te kwalifiseer vir al die geluk en voorregte wat gepaard gaan met hierdie Orde.
