A gaming first for South Africa with Tusk Resorts

Tusk Resorts opening their new casino in Klerksdorp, Tusk Rio, on the 1st of October 2004 will bring with it exciting firsts for the gambling industry.

Tusk Rio will be the first casino operator in South Africa to utilise the new and exciting Roulette Mystery Bonus games, which will be launched in their new casino in Klerksdorp along with progressive Blackjack and Poker tables.

“The addition of these great games are set to fire up Tusk Rio even more than usual”, said gaming director of Tusk Resorts, John Barrett. “We strive to make the gaming experience as different and as exciting as possible for all our visitors and with the Rio theme in our newest casino in Klerksdorp, there will be a host of entertainment from which to choose.”

Jackpot systems have mainly been restricted to machine or card based table game products and to add a bonus to roulette it has always been looked upon as too complicated.

That was until the introduction of the world’s first live game mystery bonus for roulette. The computer graphics are second to none and will continuously update the selected prizes.

Tusk Rio Casino will also be the first casino in South Africa to have a Barnyard theatre in the complex. The Barnyard concept is widely known for its great atmosphere and fantastic shows.

Furthermore, Rio will have a variety of themed bars, the Copacabana Street Café, a funky video arcade, a well-designed crêche and a casino like none other consisting of 220 slot machines and 10 tables.
