Plus in Noordwes gesę.
nie kla as eiendomsbelasting of dienste tariewe uitermate

Schools Delighted By Trust
A number of special schools were blessed on the past weekend
when the National Sports Trust donated cricket kits for sports
development in these schools. In his heart warming speech, Mr
Sandile Sayedwa from the Trust said that the main aim in their
projects is to supply less privileged children with sports
equipment. He said that any child who is given a ball to play
with, will soon flatten the ground and play a game. For this
reason, the National Sports Trust aims to provide as many as
possible rural and farm schools with the necessary sports
equipment.
The Coordinator of Differently Abled Cricket in the North West,
Ms Louise Vorster said that the North West Cricket Association (NWCA)
is doing what they can in order to get disabled cricket a part
of mainstream cricket. They are currently offering assistance by
means of coaching. They will continue to do so and expand the
number of institutions in the coaching program, but there are
sometimes financial difficulties and a shortage of assistance
for disabled cricket. Ms Vorster is involved with ladies'
cricket, which is also one of the projects of NWCA.
Rural cricket in the North West is getting a boost with Mr
Ismail Minty on the head of affairs. As general manager
stationed in Lichtenburg, he is adamant to see to it that sports
are developed at the rural and farm schools in the area.
Children in less privileged areas have a need for sporting
equipment and coaching, and it is the aim of the North West
Cricket Association to not only identify these schools, but to
also develop and assist them in their cricketing needs. |
