Talent Search 2005

Are you the star you think you are? Tusk Rio Casino, E-Marketing and Ben-G presents Talent Search 2005.

This is a search for singing talent in the solo, duo and band categories. We will be hosting semi-finals in the 3 different categories on the following dates:

1.6 April for single performers

2.13 April for duets

3.20 April for bands

The panel of judges will select 3 finalists per category and they will compete in the finals on 27 April at 19:00 in the Barnyard.

Each semi-finalist must prepare 2 songs for the semi-final. The closing date for the semi-finals are one week before the category's semi-final in the Barnyard.

Entry fees for the semi-final will be R50 and R30 for the final on 27 April.

The winner of the Talent Search 2005 will receive a Demo recording contract from Ben-G studios worth R10 000.00.

The winner will be performing in the Barnyard during selected shows of the 70's Revolution show in June 2005.

There will also be loads of other prizes up for grabs. To make it all worth your while The Barnyard will sponsor the winner with one evening in the Barnyard where he/she can do his/her own show and all the takings at the door will be his/hers.

Mrs & Miss Tusk Rio 2005

Tusk Rio Casino Resort in conjunction with E - Marketing will host the biggest female event ever in Klerksdorp.

The competition consists of 2 categories, being girls between 17 years and 24 years (unmarried) and 18 years and older (unmarried.)

The semi finals will take the form of interviews and this will be held at the Barnyard on 12 and 14 April 2005.

Prizes up for grabs will include;

cash, fully paid weekends at the Tusk Mmabatho Casino Resort as well as shopping spree vouchers and lots, lots more!

The final will take place in true Tusk Rio style with a “Rio Carnival” theme on  23  April 2005 in the Barnyard.
