Ferrari signs a deal with TATA India's Tata consultancy services has signed a deal with F1 world champions Ferrari to provide the team with information technology and engineering services for the development of the 2005 car. TCS, India's largest software services company, said in a statement that it would also provide software solutions for Ferrari sports cars. “It is a significant win for us and it will help us to expand our market presence in different parts of Europe,” a spokesman for TCS said. Ferrari's chief's designer, Rory Byrne, recently revealed that the team would use 2004's championship-winning machine for the first few races of this season. The new car expects to make its debut between the third and the fifth races-at Bahrain on April 17, at the French Grand Prix on April 24 or at San Mario on May 8. |
