INVITATION TO TENDER: MARKET 05/2005: REQUEST FOR A PROPOSAL TO UNDERTAKE A SITUATIONAL ANALYSIS OF THE KLERKSDORP NATIONAL FRESH PRODUCE MARKET. The City Council of Klerksdorp hereby invites proposals to undertake a situational analysis of the Klerksdorp National Fresh Produce Market (The Market). All proposals should exclude VAT. All interested parties should provide their contact details (name and surname). Position, company, telephone number, facsimile number, mobile number, and e-mail address) to Mr. J. Benadé at facsimile number (018) 469 3629 or e-mail: kldmark@lantic.net before or on close of business on 20 April 2005. All questions and/or correspondence must be addressed in writing to Mr. J. Benadé, Klerksdorp National Fresh Produce Market, PO Box 99, Klerksdorp, 2570 and faxed or e-mail to the aforementioned facsimile number or e-mail address and will be distributed to all interested parties. No other person in the City Council of Klerksdorp will be allowed to entertain any correspondence or deliberations of whatsoever nature with regards to the subject matter. All correspondence by the City Council of Klerksdorp with interested parties will be via e-mail, as provided by interested parties, and will cease on close of business on 20 April 2005. No correspondence of whatsoever nature will be entertained after this time and date. The provision of contact details is compulsory. Proposals addressed to the undersigned, endorsed on the covering envelope duly “TENDER: MARKET 05/2005: OPEN PROPOSAL CALL TO UNDERTAKE A SITUATIONAL ANALYSIS OF THE KLERKSDORP NATIONAL FRESH PRODUCE MARKET” must be submitted under seal and must be deposited in the Tender Box at the foyer of Klerksdorp Civic Center, Pretoria street, Klerksdorp, not later than 11:00 on 20 April 2005. Late proposals or proposals not endorsed as stated will NOT be considered. Council reserves the right to allocate only a portion of the proposal and to waive any requirement as contained in the proposal conditions. Proposals will be adjudicated in accordance with Council’s Preferential Procurement Policy, based on the Preferential Policy Framework Act no 5 of 2000. T.Z MOKHATLA Notice no. 5/2005 TENDER CE 10/2005: CONSTRUCTION OF SEWER LINES IN HARTBEESFONTEIN Sealed tenders, duly endorsed “TENDER CE 10/2005: CONSTRUCTION OF SEWER LINES IN HARTBEESFONTEIN” are hereby invited for the construction of approximately 1560m of 160mm and 730m of 110mm diameter sewer lines with related manholes (27 No) and yard connections to a total of 49 stands in Hartbeesfontein town. The contract will include the supply, delivery, handling and installation of all materials according to specifications. Tenders will be received by the undersigned until 11:00 on Wednesday, 20 April 2005. Sealed tenders must be placed in the tender box in the foyer of the Civic Centre (Pretoria Street) and no tenders will be accepted after the closing time or per facsimile. Tender documents will be available from Marieta Jacobs from 11 April 2005 at Room 211, Second Floor, Civic Centre, Klerksdorp on payment of a non-refundable amount of R200,00. A compulsory site inspection will be conducted at 10:00 promptly on Tuesday, 12 April 2005. For this purpose a representative of the Department: Civil Engineering will meet prospective tenderers in front of the Civic Centre, Klerksdorp. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted and the Council reserves the right to accept any portion of any tender and to waive any requirement as contained in the tender conditions. Z MOKHATLA Notice no. 121/2005 ATTENTION ALL ARTS AND CRAFTERS The Goudkoppie Heritage Site and Tourist Information Centre will soon open its doors to the public. Exhibition stalls have been erected on Goudkoppie and this would be the platform for local arts and crafters to exhibit their talents. All arts and crafters who are interested in obtaining one of the stalls should prepare their products for presentation to a selection committee. This selection committee will select arts and crafters that will be offered the opportunity to sell their products at the stalls at Goudkoppie. Only unique crafts and products of a high quality will be considered. Products can be handed in and an application form can be completed at the Klerksdorp Museum or the offices of the Department of Economic Affairs and Corporate Communication, Stilfontein Municipal Offices.
