ALIENATION  OF  PORTION (F) OF ERF 22134,  JOUBERTON EXTENSION 22

Notice is hereby given in terms of the provisions of section 79(18) of the Local Government Ordinance, 1939, as amended, that it is the intention of the City Council to sell portion (F) of erf 22134, Jouberton Extension 22, approximately 729m² in extent, out of hand.

A copy of the Council's resolution as well as a plan indicating the location of the said erf may be inspected at room 102, Civic Centre, during normal office hours.

Any person who has any objection to the proposed alienation must lodge his objection in writing with the undersigned before THURSDAY, 5 MAY 2005.

Hiermee word kennis ooreenkomstig die bepalings van artikel 79(18) van die Ordonnansie op Plaaslike Bestuur, 1939, soos gewysig, gegee dat die Stadsraad voornemens is om  gedeelte (F) van erf 22134, Jouberton Uitbreiding 22, ongeveer 729m² groot, uit die hand te verkoop.

'n Afskrif van die Stadsraad se besluit, die voorwaardes van verkoop en 'n plan waarop die ligging van die erf aangetoon word, sal gedurende gewone kantoorure by kamer 102, Burgersentrum ter insae lê.

Enigeen wat beswaar teen die vervreemding van die erf wil aanteken, moet sodanige beswaar skriftelik voor DONDERDAG, 5 MEI 2005 by die ondergetekende indien.

Notice is herby given in terms of section 38 of the Local  Authorities Rating Ordinance, 1977 (Ordinance 11 of 1977), that the first sitting of the Valuation Appeal Board will take place on the 10th and 11th of May 2005 at 09:00 to 16:00 and will be held at the following address: Council Chambers, 1st floor, Civic Centre, Klerksdorp to hear any appeal against the decision of the Valuation Board in respect of the valuation roll for the financial years 2003 to 2006.

STADSRAAD VAN KLERKSDORP

TENDER CE 10/2005: CONSTRUCTION OF SEWER LINES IN HARTBEESFONTEIN

Sealed tenders, duly endorsed “TENDER CE 10/2005: CONSTRUCTION OF SEWER LINES IN HARTBEESFONTEIN” are hereby invited for the construction of approximately 1560m of 160mm and 730m of 110mm diameter sewer lines with related manholes (27 No) and yard connections to a total of 49 stands in Hartbeesfontein town. The contract will include the supply, delivery, handling and installation of all materials according to specifications.

Tenders will be received by the undersigned until 11:00 on Wednesday, 20 April 2005.

Sealed tenders must be placed in the tender box in the foyer of the Civic Centre (Pretoria Street) and no tenders will be accepted after the closing time or per facsimile.

Tender documents will be available from Marieta Jacobs from 11 April 2005 at Room 211, Second Floor, Civic Centre, Klerksdorp on payment of a non-refundable amount of R200,00.

A compulsory site inspection will be conducted at 10:00 promptly on Tuesday, 12 April 2005. For this purpose a representative of the Department: Civil Engineering will meet prospective tenderers in front of the Civic Centre, Klerksdorp.

The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted and the Council reserves the right to accept any portion of any tender and to waive any requirement as contained in the tender conditions.

NOTICE FOR THE SCRUTINY OF THE DRAFT SPATIAL DEVELOPMENT

FRAMEWORK FOR THE CITY COUNCIL OF KLERKSDORP

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 15(3) [Regulation 796 of 24 August 2001] of the Local Government Municipal Planning and Performance Management Regulations 2001, for the scrutiny of the Draft Spatial Development Framework for the City Council of Klerksdorp.

The Spatial Development Frameworks (SDF) for the City Council of Klerksdorp forms part of the Integrated Development Process (IDP) of the municipality and is one of the key instruments of the municipal land use management systems.  The main objectives of the SDF is to:

  •           Provide a spatial strategy to achieve the municipal vision

  •           Coordinate development initiatives

  •           Provide direction for development

  •           Identify key development areas

  •           Serve as guideline for decision making on land related matters

Particulars of the Spatial Development Framework will lie for inspection during normal office hours at the following venue:
