Chantel Bensch Voted Readers Choice!

The lovely, 17-year-old Chantel Bensch, a Gr 11 pupil from Wesvalia, was voted  “Miss Wesvalia Readers Choice” by the readers of the Yourcity Newspaper. The public voted via e-mail or by smsing their favourite choice and Yourcity was overwhelmed by the number of votes for the “Miss Wesvalia Readers Choice” but in the end it was Bensch who received the most votes.

Bensch entered the Miss Wesvalia competition for the fun of it with a group of her friends.  She says they have enjoyed every moment and every opportunity that has come their way.  During her 4 year modeling career, Bensch has also gained the title of “Miss Extreme” - North West, and was placed 3rd runner up in the National Miss Extreme. Her aspirations are to become a Child Psychologist and study as a beautician as well.

The crowning of the Miss Wesvalia competition took place on 1 November, read the Yourcity Newspaper next week to find out which one of the lovely ladies walked away with the title of “Miss Wesvalia 2006”.
