Pizza - Out Of This World!

Pizza World opened in Klerksdorp just two months ago and has been a great success. A pizza concept new to Klerksdorp, this family owned business has been running for eleven years in the Western Cape and has proven itself there. There are over 30 Pizza World outlets across the Cape, and now Pizza World has come to the North West. In addition to an outlet in Klerksdorp, there is a brand new store in Orkney, and one opening soon in Potchefstroom.  

Klerksdorp owner Johan Pretorius has a secret ingredient that makes people come back for more….not only is he passionate about pizza, he also happens to make the freshest, most topping loaded pizza in the district! A willingness to accommodate even the strangest orders and a dedication to quality make Pizza World a special place. As he says with conviction, “I firmly believe Pizza World makes the best pizzas in town.”

He backs this up with examples, explaining how his pizzas have more toppings and cheese than most other pizza outlets and he uses only the best quality meats and toppings. His bacon, salami and ham are not 3rd grade fatty offcuts, but the best quality he can find. He uses no “junk” on his pizzas and as many low fat products as possible. In addition to this, Johan makes his pizza dough fresh every day, lacing it with a secret combination of herbs and spices to keep it fresh and tasty.  

Pizzas all come loaded with cheese, on a crispy, tasty base and with nearly 35 pizzas on the menu, choosing a favorite could take a while. There are also four different seafood pizzas to choose from, and no less than five vegetarian pizzas on the menu. Yourcity recommends the yummy Chicken Supreme! 

Pizza World is situated in the Flimieda Spar Centre in Lautzlaan and is open from 10:00 to 21:00, Monday to Saturday, and is also conveniently open from 17:00 to 20:00 on Sunday evenings - perfect for late night munching in front of the Sunday movie. Johan encourages people to phone ahead and place their orders, on 018 468 3707, but he will soon also begin delivering to homes.
